Welcome to Snowmass Village

Peaceful mountain life with recreation galore

The beautiful mountain landscape makes Snowmass Village a premier destination for all sorts of outdoor recreation—like hiking and camping in the warmer months. Later in the year, the winter wonderland makes it perfect for skiing and snowboarding.

Once an area used for hunting and fishing by the Ute Indians pre the 1850s, then later inhabited by ranchers in the 1880s, it wasn’t until the late 1960s that this community became ski-centric. Today, it’s an incredibly popular location for luxury homes. As of November 2021, the median single-family home value in Snowmass Village is $5,928,023, while the median condo or townhouse value is $1,224,015.
